If you think reading style guides is fun, then this position could be the one for you. You will be asked to learn our style guide inside and out and should have a sharp eye for proofing copy. Daily assignments may include writing/editing press releases, short promo pieces, newsletter and magazine articles, product labels, and more. Everything you can imagine is possible to publicate in daily, weekly and monthly media portals and offline publications.
The candidate for this position must have 1+ years of experience in a writing/editing position or a degree in a related field. This is a fast-paced position with a sharp learning curve, but we are willing to train a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
friendly personality with \"I can do that\" kind of attitude
willingness to accept edits and be mentored by experienced writers/editors
local and international knowledge of societies and cultural understanding
commitment to producing quality work and meeting deadlines
One-two years of experience in a writing/editing related position or a degree in a related field
own style of creating articles with perfect writing abilities
young, flexible and dynamic person with a modern way of thinking
open minded and interested in every subject, all areas of business, fashion, lifestyle, society, politics, nature, cultures ...
The following experience may be helpful but is not required: project management experience, experience working in marketing and/or direct sales, and being able to read and write in Arabic and English. German and French language skills would be an asset.
Submit a letter of interest and a resume plus CV and work samples if available through the FUN-SURF MEDIA Recruitment Center. Certain applicants will be asked to complete a writing test.
